The Restoration of Castle Drogo
Speaker – Castle Drogo Volunteer
The presentation will cover the 7 long years of major restoration work to protect the castle designed and built by renowned 20th century architect Sir Edwin Lutyens, from the unforgiving Dartmoor wind and rain. An informed duo, with over ten years of experience and knowledge will walk us through the hard work that has been carried out to ensure that the castle endures many more years of Dartmoor weather. This presentation will also prepare members and give them an insight of what we will see on the upcoming visit on the 15th June.
Our meetings are held at Lustleigh Village Hall.
Please come and join us for a sociable glass of wine before the meeting.
