A rollicking, tuneful comedy set in the mid-eighteenth century and inspired by the satire of Swift and the art of Hogarth, the play reveals the lives, loves and low-down plots of those ‘Below Stairs.’ While Butler, Cook, Lady’s Maid, Footman, and Chambermaid teach the new servants how to lie, cheat and line their pockets, their Master and Mistress have no idea of how they are being manipulated….
