‘ALICE IN WONDERLAND’
Devised and Performed by THE COMMON PLAYERS
The Queen of Hearts is on the war-path! It’s up to Alice to save every-ones’ heads by throwing her a tea-party, along with the help of new friends, like the Turtle, who’d rather be singing, a Cook with a pepper habit, a Hatter who’s quite mad, an unpunctual Rabbit and a very naughty Cat. What could possibly go wrong?
This is the nonsensical world of Lewis Carroll – but not quite as you know it! Expect larger-than-life characters, puppets, live music, dancing and a Wonderland of absurdity and fun.
Bring along your family and friends and a blanket or chair to sit on, and follow the Common Players down the rabbit hole. Some refreshments will be available with cream teas served in the Village Hall. There might be some jam tarts – if the Knave of Hearts hasn’t stolen them…
