DESCRIPTION:LEAP ARE BRINGING YOU ANOTHER RIGHT ROYAL TEAPARTY! \nSaturday 2nd July 3.00.pm in the Orchard \nA Show for All Ages with Cream Teas available in the Village Hall \n‘ALICE IN WONDERLAND’ \nDevised and Performed by THE COMMON PLAYERS \nThe Queen of Hearts is on the war-path! It’s up to Alice to save every-ones’ heads by throwing her a tea-party\, along with the help of new friends\, like the Turtle\, who’d rather be singing\, a Cook with a pepper habit\, a Hatter who’s quite mad\, an unpunctual Rabbit and a very naughty Cat. What could possibly go wrong? \nThis is the nonsensical world of Lewis Carroll – but not quite as you know it! Expect larger-than-life characters\, puppets\, live music\, dancing and a Wonderland of absurdity and fun. \nBring along your family and friends and a blanket or chair to sit on\, and follow the Common Players down the rabbit hole. Some refreshments will be available with cream teas served in the Village Hall. There might be some jam tarts – if the Knave of Hearts hasn’t stolen them… \nTickets: £10 adults\, £5 children. He hopes to make contact with other life forms. His neighbour\, Gwen\, thinks he should be exploring the unknown much closer to home… \nA cosmic comedy about obsession and the rekindling of love\, hope and possibility… \nThis is not a Village Hall Event\, it is advertised here as part of the promotion on behalf of LEAP.
