DESCRIPTION:Blue Jewel Ceilidh Band – one of the most sought-after ceilidh and barn dance bands in Devon – and Lustleigh Orchard Preschool present the Lustleigh Barn Dance on Friday 7th July from 7:30pm – 11:30pm in Lustleigh Village Hall. \nWith a fully-stocked bar of local tipples – Sandford Orchards cider\, Papillon gin\, Doom Bar and Tribute – and a barbeque by Michael Howard butchers in Moretonhampstead\, the evening will support local businesses and raise money for Orchard Preschool. \nThe event is absolutely open to anyone living in – or visiting – the area and fancies a fun\, informal evening stomping round the village hall to some great local music. Barn dance novices are very much welcome\, as Blue Jewel will also have a caller running us through the dances. \nDancing aside\, there will also be a prize draw to win a three-night £1\,000 stay at St Michael’s Resort\, Cornwall – ideal if you’ve yet to fix this year’s holiday plans. \nTickets: \nAdults – £10; children – £5  \nTickets in advance via pta-events.co.uk/lustleighorchardpreschool\, the Lustleigh Orchard Pre-school Facebook group or at Lustleigh Dairy and Post Office. \nFood: \nThe evening’s barbeque will be outside the village hall\, alongside Lustleigh’s beautiful Orchard\, and will include plenty of options for vegetarians.
